The new Series TCII™ boiler - a gas, oil or combination gas/oil-fired, cast iron boiler– has been redesigned for higher efficiencies. The boiler is ideal for large commercial hot water and steam applications and is available in 15 sizes (4-18 sections) as knocked-down, assembled sections or fully packaged boilers. The Series TCII™ is designed for forced draft firing to provide the highest possible efficiencies. Boilers are equipped with choice of Beckett, Carlin, Power Flame or Riello power burners.

Series TCII™ boilers are constructed with rugged, cast-iron, wet-base sections for durability and top performance. Hi-temperature, flexible, graphite port connectors, and short, individual draw rods assure a tight fit between sections and simplify installation. All Series TCII™ boilers come equipped with a burner mounting plate with insulation block, built-in cast iron flue collector with integral damper, and an insulated enameled steel jacket to reduce boiler heat loss. Standard equipment includes front and rear observation ports, tankless coils for domestic hot water and a 30 psi ASME safety relief valve on water boilers. Steam boilers feature a 15 psi ASME side outlet safety valve and steam gauge.

Balanced Return Temperature Technology

All Series TCII™ hot water boilers are equipped with Balanced Return Temperature technology. The Balanced Return Temperature system assures a stable return temperature and is the simplest, most effective method to reduce or eliminate stress failures in cast iron boilers. Installation of the Balanced Return Temperature system is simple and requires no additional controls, pumps or piping. Each system is completely self-adjusting and sized for a specific TCII™ boiler model.

1 Net I=B=R Water Ratings are based on allowance of 1.15. Net I=B=R Ratings for steam boilers are based on piping and pick-up factor as follows: 4 and 5 section = 1.333, 6 and 7 section = 1.305, 8 section and larger = 1.288.

2 Light oil having a heat content of 140,000 BTU/Gal.

3 Gas having a heat content of 1,000 BTU/Cu. Ft., 0.60 specific gravity.

4 Consult factory before selecting a boiler for installation having unusual piping and pickup requirements, such as intermittent system operation, extensive piping systems, etc.

5 Combustion and thermal efficiency determined in accordance with BTS 2000 Testing Standard for Heating Boilers.
